A motorcyclist has died after a crash between his motorbike and a ute in Maramarua, north of Hamilton.
Police said the ute was travelling south and the road bike was travelling north when the collision occurred at about 4pm on Saturday.
The motorcyclist was taken to Auckland hospital but later died. The driver of the ute was not injured.
Senior Sergeant Gael Mockford said it was the seventh serious crash in Waikato this month and the third death.
