For the second time this week, a shark has been spotted in Wellington Harbour.
The shark was swimming in the lagoon near the city's Boat Shed on Tuesday and startled people walking along the waterfront.
Danny Rood said he had been looking for stingrays but didn't see any, then spotted the bulk of the shark and its dorsal fin. He said it looked to be about two metres long.
Mr Rood said a couple of other people saw it also, but there was no crowd yelling "shark!" or anything.
A similar sized shark was spotted in Wellington harbour on Sunday.
