Four people have been arrested on drugs charges after the discovery of a methamphetamine lab in Coromandel.
Police say officers noticed two people coming out of what was supposed to be an unoccupied rural property near Whitianga on Sunday.
When the officers checked a house on the property, they found two of the men and a drugs lab inside. Cash, chemicals and a loaded pistol was also discovered.
All four appeared in the Hamilton District Court on Monday where they were remanded in custody to reappear on Tuesday.
