A scrub fire that caused problems for motorists at Puhoi, north of Auckland, has been extinguished.
Police and the Fire Service were at the scene on Saturday morning, along the motorway just north of the Puhoi tunnel.
The motorway remained open as the fire burned but police said smoke causrf delays.
