A sawmill in Motueka has been extensively damaged by fire.
The Fire Service says it was called to the blaze at 6pm on Tuesday and sent ten fire engines from as far as Nelson to bring the fire under control.
Fire safety inspectors were to visit the site on Wednesday morning.
