A man has died in a crash in Tawa, north of Wellington, when his car went over a bank.
Police say a car crashed down a bank near the Dressmart complex
The driver, a man in his 60s, was killed and Wellington Free Ambulance says two passengers were taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
Main Road in Tawa was closed as police investigated and a diversion was in place through Redwood Avenue.
