The Transport Agency says good progress has been made in stabilising a slip that closed State Highway Six through Haast Pass on Wednesday.
The highway was closed by a 50 metre slip and subsequent slips brought work to clear it, back to square one.
But NZTA said on Sunday good progress has been made, and if there are no further slips, the road will be open again on Monday.
