A 33-year-old Upper Hutt man will appear in the Porirua District Court on Monday afternoon after being arrested at the weekend on 20 fraud-related charges.
The man's house was searched on Saturday after police received numerous complaints last week.
They initially got one complaint from an ANZ branch in Paraparaumu about a man using a modified driver's licence to get account information.
Further complaints were also received about the man from Kiwibank branches in Auckland, Otaki and Waikanae, as well as ANZ branches in Palmerston North, Pahiatua and the Kapiti Coast.
They say the man was only able to obtain about $3000.
