The Fire Service is at the scene of a fire in a childcare centre on the North Shore, Auckland.
The building, in Albany was well ablaze when fire crews arrived at about 3.30am on Sunday, but premises on Apollo Drive was not occupied.
The fire is now out and an investigation will be held to try to determine whether it was deliberately lit.
