The Radio Network has announced broadcaster Tony Veitch will soon be back on air with a regular slot.
Veitch was suspended and then resigned from his position as Radio Sport's breakfast host in July last year.
This followed a domestic incident which led to him pleading guilty to injuring his former partner Kristin Dunne-Powell with reckless disregard.
Veitch has appeared briefly on Sky Sport since he lost his radio job and another at Televison New Zealand.
But the Radio Network now says he will be back as a sports news presenter and journalist for Newstalk ZB and Radio Sport from early January.
