The Ministry of Health says the recorded rate of swine flu has declined following an isolated outbreak in Christchurch last week.
More than 3000 people in New Zealand have been confirmed as having the H1N1 virus: 19 have died as a result.
The ministry said on Wednesday that there was no one in hospital with confirmed swine flu or its complications.
