A pedestrian has been struck by a car and killed in Marlborough.
The woman was hit on State Highway 1 at Riverlands in Blenheim about 5.45pm on Sunday.
The highway was open on Sunday evening, but traffic was restricted to one lane and drivers are being asked to take extreme care.
