Police in Auckland say the Facebook invitation-only group Walk in Wardrobe is being used by some members to sell stolen goods.
They say people should be satisfied that what they're buying is being sold legitimately.
Police say they can prosecute people who are reckless about buying goods that are later found to be stolen.
They say intelligence staff are taking a close look at this and similar sites offering goods, some of which police know to be stolen.
