A young woman is being treated in hospital after being attacked by a dog in South Auckland.
Police say the attack happened just before 3pm on Thursday in the suburb of Mangere Bridge and the victim was taken to Middlemore Hospital with minor injuries.
Police are working with animal control officers. It is not known what breed the dog is.
