Police in Hamilton say a home invasion has been linked to a burglary ring and seven people have been arrested.
The two separate investigations were merged when similarities were noticed between the cases.
Operation Golf targeted a recent spate of burglaries in north Hamilton and Operation Nadine was launched to track down the armed offenders responsible for a violent incident at a house in Fairfield in May.
Police say two men face charges of aggravated robbery and wounding with intent in relation to the attack.
Several properties in Hamilton were searched and five others also arrested: three are accused of involvement in the robbery and two charged with receiving stolen goods.
