The police say a jogger has been killed in Morrinsville by a car that left the road and struck her before crashing into a house.
They say the four-wheel-drive vehicle was travelling along Seales Rd in the eastern Waikato town when the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services attended but found the jogger dead. The police say she was a local woman in her early 40s.
Next of kin are still being contacted and the woman's name will not be released before Sunday.
Serious crash investiagtors have been at the scene.
