A Taiwanese woman has been arrested after border officials seized nearly $1 million worth of crystal methamphetime hidden in two suitcases.
The 47-year-old arrived at Auckland International Airport from Hong Kong on Monday night.
Customs said on Tuesday that nearly 1kg of methamphetamine, also known as 'P', was found concealed in bags she was carrying.
The woman has been charged with supplying and importating a class A drug and would appear in court on Friday.
