Thirty-six civilian police empoyees will lose their jobs as the Department of Corrections gets set to take over electronic bail monitoring.
The transition will start in October this year and from February 2014, there will be one justice sector agency managing electronic monitoring.
Both organisations hope this will improve the process and create consistency in the application of electronic monitoring.
