Olivia and Jack were the most popular names for New Zealand babies last year.
Figures from the Department of Internal Affairs show that 312 girls born in 2012 were named Olivia, and 374 boys were named Jack.
Last year's favourites, Ruby and Liam, fell to fifth and fourth respectively.
Other popular names for girls included Sophie, Emily and Charlotte; and for boys, Oliver, William and Mason.
