Former New Zealand cricketer Martin Crowe has made a scathing attack on New Zealand Cricket and its handling of Ross Taylor's sacking as captain.

Writing for the Cricinfo website, Crowe who is Taylor's batting coach, said NZ Cricket is worthless and that it destroyed the soul of the country's best player over the past week.

Crowe was particularly critical of the leadership of chief executive David White, chairman Chris Moller and Black Caps coach Mike Hesson.
