Police in Auckland have named man whose body was found in the sea off Takapuna beach on Saturday evening.
He was Mark Thomas, 52, of Auckland.
Divers found the body at about 7pm.
The man went missing on Wednesday after paddle-boarding.
The case has been referred to the coroner.
