Police in Wellington say motorists should expect lengthy delays at the intersection of Taranaki and Buckle streets after a crash there at 9:45am at Saturday.
At least one set of traffic lights was hit, cutting power to the whole intersection.
The signals are expected to be out for some time.
Meanwhile, police are manually controlling the intersection.
