Police in Taupo are calling on the public to help them find two armed robbers.
Wielding a firearm and a screwdriver, the two men stole cash and a staff member's car from the Mole and Chicken restaurant in the town on Monday .
Police say on Tuesday they found the car, a red Holden Commodore utility, on Rahui street where they suspect the men switched vehicles.
They want to hear from anyone who may have seen parked cars or people on Rahui Street near the intersection with Pataka Road.
