Dozens of police in South Auckland are continuing inquiries into irregularities in enrolment for the local body elections.
They are not commenting on Thursday on progress in the inquiry, which followed the removal from the electoral roll of more than 300 people in the Otara and Papatoetoe ward.
Candidates and some campaign staff are being contacted after a complaint from the Electoral Enrolment Centre that hundreds of people did not live at addresses where they were registered.
