New Zealand's two singles tennis players have both been eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Commonwealth Games.
Sixth seeded Davis Cup player Rubin Statham lost 6-3, 6-4 to Somdev Devvarman of India, while 6th seed Marina Erakovic also lost in straight sets to Indian 2nd seed Sania Mirza.
