New Zealand have beaten England in their netball pool match at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, but were pushed hard on Thursday.
The Silver Ferns won 47-41, but trailed 24-22 at half time 35-34 at three-quarter time at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex
However, they rallied in the final quarter, outscoring England 13 goals to six to finish strongly.
The win means the Silver Ferns will avoid Australia in the semifinals.
New Zealand play South Africa on Friday.
