New Zealand tennis player Marina Erakovic breezed into the singles quarterfinals at the Commonwealth Games with a straight sets win on Wednesday.
Erakovic had a comfortable 6-0 6-0 win over Bermuda's Jacklyn Lambert.
Having dropped just one game in two matches Erakovic, the tournament's eighth seed, will meet second seed Sania Mirza from India.
Erakovic leads the head-to-head with Mirza 1-0 having beaten her on grass at a tournament in Birmingham in 2008.
Mirza beat Brittany Teei, of the Cook Islands, 6-0 6-2 on Wednesday.
