A person with Covid-19 has been admitted to Middlemore Hospital in Auckland.

A Counties Manukau DHB spokesperson said they were transferred from the Jet Park quarantine hotel because they were suffering complications.
The person is in a moderate but stable condition.
The DHB said Middlemore is well-equipped to deal with Covid-19 patients and has robust processes in place to manage their admission.
It is the closest hospital to Jet Park, so it accepts all patients from the facility whose home domicile is outside of Auckland.
