Westland Milk will stop collecting milk from Gloriavale next week to coincide with the end of the current milking season.

Last month the company announced it would end business with the Christian community.
It followed an Employment Court ruling that members of the community who worked up to 70 hours a week for years were not volunteers.
Westland Milk chief executive Richard Wyeth said the company advised the Gloriavale-owned dairy company yesterday that it will stop collecting milk from its farms from 13 June to coincide with the end of the current milking season.
Meat company ANZCO Foods has given notice to Gloriavale that it will end business with its offal processing company Value Proteins.
Last month Silver Fern Farms said it would no longer supply offal to Value Proteins.
Alliance Group is still reviewing its relationship with the firm.
The Ministry for Primary Industries has been contacted by Gloriavale and the milk supply issue was discusseda spokesperson said in a statement.
It was not MPI's role to be involved in what was essentially a contract dispute but it had an interest in animal welfare, the statement said.
Gloriavale told the ministry the farm had management plans for the animals in place, and the ministry reminded Gloriavale of its obligations under the Animal Welfare Act and provided a link to the Dairy Code of Welfare on MPI's website.
