Emergency services were called to a farm in Waipukurau in Hawke's Bay after a four-wheel drive vehicle rolled yesterday morning.
The person died at the scene.
Later in the day, emergency services were called to a farm in the Waikato town of Morrinsville after a man was injured after crashing his ride-on lawnmower.
Ambulance staff were unable to revive him.
