Aftershocks continue in Christchurch following the magnitude 5.8 and 6.0 quakes on Friday.
The strongest was magnitude 5.1 at 6.37am on Saturday. It was centred 10km east of Akaroa and was 9km deep.
A magnitude 4.2 occurred at 2.49am, at a depth of 12km east of Lyttelton.
A magnitude 4.6 was recorded at 1.30am. It was 15km deep.
Earlier, a magnitude 4.3 quake occurred at 11.32pm, at a depth of 5km, east of Christchurch.
Other aftershocks during the night were mostly between magnitude 3.0 - 4.0.
At least 19 people were injured on Friday.
The earthquake in February killed 181 people.
