Submissions on Canterbury's draft recovery strategy have now closed.
The strategy covers the rebuild of suburbs in Christchurch and surrounding areas following the earthquakes.
The Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority says it will now work with the region's councils and Ngai Tahu in considering the submissions and recommending changes to the strategy.
The authority says the final version of the strategy should be on the desk of the Minister for Earthquake Recovery early in the new year.
