Christchurch City Council will push ahead with its planning for the central city, despite the major aftershocks earlier this week.
More than 78,000 ideas have been received from the community about what Christchurch should look like in the future.
The mayor, Bob Parker, says the deadline for people to submit their ideas remains this coming Monday, 20 June.
Submissions will be categorised and then merged into key themes and trends that will form the basis of a central-city draft plan.
Early Saturday shake
Christchurch was shaken at 6.50 on Saturday morning by a 4.4 quake. Geonet says it was centred 10 kilometres east of the city and was seven kilometres deep.
