The Lyttelton Port of Christchurch has lifted its full year profit, despite enduring 10 months of earthquake disruption.
When adjusted for the effects of the earthquakes, it made a profit of $12.1 million in the year to the end of June, 34% more than a year earlier.
Lyttelton Port's chief executive, Peter Davie, says despite the earthquake disruptions, it's been one of the port's best years yet.
He says there has been volume growth, particularly in terms of containers and coal, which is driving the growth.
