The Serious Fraud Office has laid another 11 charges against the directors of Capital + Merchant Finance.

The charges allege directors Neal Nicholls, Wayne Douglas and Owen Tallentire gained almost $16 million from deals in breach of the company's trust deed.

Capital + Merchant Finance collapsed in November 2007, owing 7000 investors $167 million.

The SFO laid charges against Mr Nicholls and Mr Douglas in December last year, relating to $14.5 million worth of related party loans.

The three accused are due to appear in the Auckland District Court on 5 August.
