Diligent Board Member Services is thanking Apple's iPad after sales of new licenses tripled in the three months to June.
Revenue rose to $US3.7 million in the June quarter - double that of the same period a year ago - which Diligent says is due to the popularity of the iPad among executives.
Diligent's software helps company boards keep track of their papers using the internet.
The company generates its income from annual subscriptions for the software.
Diligent's chairman, David Liptek, says it sold 133 new licenses in the period.
He says more firms appear increasingly comfortable with accessing board papers online.
The company's shares jumped 19 cents (15%) to $1.44 on Wednesday morning.
