Nuplex Industries has formed a joint venture company with RPC Technologies to buy the pipemaker, Fibrelogic Pipe Systems.
It will pay $A26 million to acquire Fibrelogic.
Nuplex expects the purchase will make a small positive contribution to its 2012 financial year earnings.
