Cooper & Company says it has decided against building a five-star hotel on the Auckland waterfront.
Following public submissions, the development company says the building will have fewer floors and be far smaller than the original design.
Council approval will now be sought for a building which could include a small hotel, mixed with mixture of food and beverage premises.
