Life Pharmacy has turned the business to profit after making a loss for two consecutive years.
The company made $631,000 in the March year, compared with a loss of $570,000 the previous.
Life Pharmacy says earnings rose 151% to $1 million, driven by a stronger and more focused marketing programme.
Despite the economic downturn, it says both retail and dispensary sales have been strong across all Life Pharmacy stores.
