Amazon is making its first step into internet tv, launching its own set top box called Fire TV.
It will stream Netflicks, Hulu and other content providers as well as allow users to play games.
Fire TV will vie with with Google's and Apple's own TV stream products.
The BBC reports the device is a small black box similar to Apple TV. It will cost $US99 and is available immediately in the United States.
It will allow consumers to stream content from Amazon's library, as well other video-on-demand services, directly to their TVs.
