The ANZ Bank's chief economist says business confidence is at an almost 15-year high, despite an elevated dollar and expectations interest rates will rise.
Almost two-thirds of businesses are optimistic about their prospects - the highest reading since February 1999.
Employment intentions for ANZ's December business outlook are the strongest it's seen since September 1994.
