Freightways has extended its presence in the Australian and New Zealand information management market with the purchase of two document destruction businesses for $13 million.
Advance Security Destruction Services operates mainly in Sydney, as well as in Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane. Docushred has services across Hawke's Bay and neighbouring regions.
The businesses are expected to generate annual revenues of $6 million and earnings of about $2.5 million they are integrated into existing operations.
