Best Western Australasia could add up to six more hotels to its portfolio across New Zealand and Australia to total 183 hotels, apartments and resorts by the end of the year.
The group has opened six new hotels in Australia in the past two months and says new hotels in New Zealand are also in the pipeline.
Chief executive Rob Anderson, says the group is witnessing an important period of growth, with hotel bookings up 14 per cent over winter compared to the same time last year.
Best Western International has over 4,000 hotels in 80 countries, including 14 in New Zealand.
