The stock exchange is extending trading hours in its dairy derivatives from early in the September quarter in order to facilitate trades from around the world.
At present the market is open from 8am to 4pm.
From the September quarter it will open at 2am and close at 4pm.
The new hours will allow European traders to place orders before the end of their trading day, and also keep the market open during the main trading session on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
