Former Telecom boss Theresa Gattung says her love of food and a good business opportunity were the main drivers for taking a stake in a new home delivery food service.
Ms Gattung has joined with MasterChef 2011 winner Nadia Lim and businesswoman Cecilia Robinson to create My Food Bag, a weekly service delivering meal kits.
The business has launched in Auckland with plans to expand to other centres.
Ms Gattung said she got involved after working as an advisor to Cecilia Robinson on her business Au Pair Link.
She said Ms Robinson saw the concept in Sweden and they have spent the last six months developing the idea in New Zealand.
Ms Gattung won't say how much she's invested in the business.
