Food prices have fallen in November as vegetables continue to get cheaper.
Statistics New Zealand's Food Price Index was 0.8% lower in November than the month before.
It is the third consecutive monthly fall in food prices reflecting seasonally cheaper vegetables.
Fruit and vegetables are down 4.4%, meat, poultry, and fish dropped 1.6% in price and grocery food fell 0.2%.
Of all the foods tracked, tomatoes fell the most in price, from an average of $8.29 a kilo in October to $4.52 in November.
