Claridge takes over SeaDragon oils, brand

6:49 pm on 16 October 2012

Claridge Capital says it has finished taking over Nelson-based SeaDragon Marine Oils.

SeaDragon produces refined fish oil ingredients on both sides of the Tasman, and plans to increase production to meet demand, especially from North America, Northern Asia and Europe.

Claridge Capital says it is issuing shares and securities, and four of its five directors will stay on.

It will change its name to SeaDragon - as well as its sharemarket code - from 19 October.
