Trade Me says the number of job vacancies in Christchurch has surged by nearly half in the three months to June, helped by an increasing demand for workers who can help with the rebuild.
Nationally, Trade Me says job listings rose 8%, though Wellington, Auckland, Gisborne and Northland all fell.
