A man accused of killing a New Zealander and stuffing his dismembered body into a chilly bin will face a trial next March.
David Leslie Hickson was charged with murder and interfering with a corpse after Campbell Paterson's body was found in bushland south of Cairns in Queensland in November last year.
In the Cairns Magistrates Court today, a five-day trial was set down for the 33-year-old, beginning 14 March.
Mr Paterson worked in Cairns, returning every few months to his family in Napier.
