Judas admits to understanding how people might have been swayed by Jesus' oratorial skill and his message of hope for the poor. But Judas also acknowledges his own rationality and intelligence. Judas gives his opinion that Jesus was condemned by his own personality, talent and rhetoric and, especially, by the increasing blurring of the line between that rhetoric and fact.
